1·Perimeter blasting technique, which can decrease the blasting vibration and harmfulness on fixed slope, is used in the Zhangbagou Limestone Mine.

2·The surface of surrounding rock by controlled perimeter blasting can be looked as fractal whose dimension is the mirror of the explosion action process of rock.

3·Fracture control blasting, a new perimeter control technique, is an alternative to pre-splitting or smooth wall blasting which can be used to achieve better perimeter control results.

4·It is shown that the fracture control blasting is of great importance in engineering practice to achieve a good perimeter control.
