1·All butt, grooved t, and corner joints shall be complete joint penetration weld joints.

2·By comparing backgouging of plasma arc with carbon arc to the welded joint of 13-5 martensitic stainless steel, the backgouging of plasma arc is proved feasible for the full penetration weld.

3·Do spot welding experiments to aluminum alloy plate in the same condition of simulation, prepare low magnification metallographic photos of joint, and measure nugget diameter and penetration rate.

4·Porosity is apt to occur in deep penetration laser beam welding, which has severe influence on the mechanical properties of laser welded joint.

5·The influence of He-to-Ar ratio in AC-TIG on the AZ31 welding properties was studied. The arc characters, weld penetration, joint forming were measured and analyzed.
