1·From test, the relationship of cable free end, anchor pier, foundation deformation and cable creep with load is revealed and rational design force for anchorage cable is proved.

2·The paper introduces the arrangement of anchor sheaf in gate pier, the design of tension, the selection of anchorage system and the result of space finite element calculation.

3·The stress distribution has been compared and analysized among three forms of anchorage as obligating silo in upward side of the pier, cementing the inside anchor and U-type anchorage.
