1·A low flicker noise mixer for zero-IF GPS receiver is presented.

2·The noise mainly comes from the thermal noise of resistors and the flicker noise of MOSFETs.

3·Flicker noise is approximately simulated by power law model of phase noise spectral density.

4·Second , the noise of double balanced mixer was analyzed, which involved analysis of low frequency flicker noise and high frequency thermal noise.

5·In detail, there is reported on the achievable improvement of picture sharpness and signal-to-noise ratio as well as on the reduction of flicker effects and luminance-chrominance-interference.
