1·Methods: Routine water caloric test, spontaneous nystagmus (SN) and HSN were performed in 500 patients with vertigo.

2·Conclusion: in performing the vestibular's caloric test, it's more reasonable for clinic to use active alerting tasks.

3·Methods We conducted the pure tone audiology, glycerol test, electrocochleogram(ECochG) , water caloric test, vestibular evoked myogenic potentils(VEMP) in 120 aural vertigo patients.

4·The results suggested that the blood lipid test can serve as index of indirectly learning 5-HT level, and has guiding action on limiting caloric intake and raising action of schizophrenics.
